Before you can go on vacation, before you even book a flight, you have to have an idea. My head is continuously filled with ideas on new places to explore. I love the idea of going somewhere you’ve never been and doing something you’ve never done. I find it intriguing to learn about different places and hunt for the best deal to get there. On the other hand, my toughest part about preparing for a vacation is packing. It’s not that I forget to pack things (that’s what lists are for), but our New Zealand trip isn’t like any of the others we’ve taken. This will be our longest vacation and our first time renting an RV. Thus, as we examined the RV’s packing guide, we couldn’t help but wonder if anything was missing.
As we compiled our ginormous list, we enjoyed dreaming about the adventure ahead of us. How will Australia and New Zealand be different from Europe? What will be our favorite stop? Will meat pies actually be any good? And as we think about driving an RV in a foreign country (on the other side of the road), will Kyle survive me as a co-pilot?
No matter what the road has in store for us, we’re excited to see what’s next!
